What is it?

Swedish massage was developed initially by a gymnast called Per Henrick Ling. It consists of long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration and hacking motions that apply pressure between muscles and bones, rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. Its main purpose is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from muscles

How long does it take?

A full body massage takes one hour; massage to one body area, for example, head, neck and shoulder, takes 30 minutes.
